ACHIEVED A MILESTONE IN COMPLEX CORONARY INTERVENTION :
ROTA ABLATION procedure for HEAVILY CALCIFIED LAD lesion

Hi everyone

A 48 male came to gems emergency with sob k/c/o of Diabetes , htn, Diabetic nephropathy…ecg and 2decho was done.
Diagnosed as CAD- ACS NSTEMI with Trop t positive. Angio was done showing LAD proximal to mid 95% stenosis with heavy Calcium.

It is difficult to deploy Stent in LAD with heavy calcium. It causes under expansion and malposition and early restenosis and Stent throbossis.

So we planned break the calcium with ROTA ABLATION. After that we kept 2 stents in LAD. Final result was outstanding.
